The Milwaukee Bucks don’t look like a championship-caliber team right now.
Doc Rivers’ team has dropped four consecutive games, most of them against subpar teams.
That’s not how you want to finish the regular season, especially with three teams breathing down your neck and trying to take the No. 2 seed away from you.
That’s why NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal believes they have a focus and effort problem, stating that they’re going to get bounced in the first round of the playoffs if they don’t fix those issues (via NBA on TNT).

Notably, Rivers has never been known for being a good tactician with his adjustments or his rotations.
Instead, he’s got a reputation for being a motivator and a culture-builder.
The only problem is that the culture was already set in Milwaukee, and it’s become fairly evident that he doesn’t have the players’ ears right now.
If anything, Rivers has pointed the finger at everybody else but him since arriving there, even blaming the traveling crew for their struggles on the road, and insinuating they weren’t professional enough.
We’re talking about a team that won an NBA championship three years ago, so it’s not like they don’t know what they’re doing.
So, if Rivers doesn’t bring the X’s and O’s and is failing to get the players to buy in and be motivated, he’s not bringing much to the table right now.
The Bucks have the talent to turn this around, but it doesn’t seem like the players believe they can pull it off.
