The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t get it done on Wednesday night and lost to the Sacramento Kings, 125-110.
Although the team fell short, it was another example of LeBron James performing miracles as he earned a triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
It was, sadly, also another example of Anthony Davis playing inconsistently as he only scored 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Skip Bayless criticized Davis’ game on Twitter, saying, “LeBron played and shot it great. But here we go AGAIN: AD stood for Always Disappearing.”

This is a story that NBA fans have heard again and again throughout Davis’ career, especially during his time with the Lakers.
He will perform well for one game and then have a lackluster performance following that.
It is frustrating for fans and it happens for a number of reasons, from injuries to conditioning to just being wiped out.
Heading into Wednesday night’s game, some people thought they’d see less of James because it was the second of two back-to-back games.
At 38 years old, it would be understandable if James needed the night off after playing just 24 hours before.
But James was looking electric and it was Davis who was having a hard time and looked exhausted and off his game.
Following the loss, he admitted that his hip is bothering him and he is attempting to heal it.
He said that he doesn’t plan to miss any time in the days ahead but there are now concerns among fans who feel he should possibly take a game or two off if he isn’t feeling 100%.
The Lakers lost by 15 points on Wednesday but could that margin have been smaller or completely gone if Davis was playing better?
