Skip Bayless Warns Giannis Antetokounmpo About Big-Market Media

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the premier franchises in all of professional sports, with the 17-time NBA champions having a reputation for success while also being able to bring some of the best basketball players in the history of the game through the organization on a consistent basis.

That trend continued recently with the Lakers being able to bring in superstar forward LeBron James and then follow that up a couple of years later with the acquisition of fellow superstar Anthony Davis.

The Lakers had done it again, and no one was surprised, as the team had compiled yet another talented squad with two superstars leading the way, which resulted in another title in 2020.

With James about to turn 39 in December and Davis into his 30s, the Lakers will be on the prowl again, with Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks potentially in their crosshairs.

Although this would be the ideal move for the franchise, Skip Bayless of FOX Sports isn’t sure Antetokounmpo can handle the bright lights of Los Angeles, as he said on “Undisputed” Wednesday morning.

Although the Lakers are the perfect team for a player of Antetokounmpo’s caliber, some superstars struggle when they get to Los Angeles, especially ones that thrive in small markets like Dwight Howard and Russell Westbrook.

However, Antetokounmpo has already won a championship, which is something the two other superstars can’t say, as he won’t be coming to Los Angeles desperately seeking a title.

Plus, Antetokounmpo is known for his toughness and having the right mentality to deal with almost anything that comes his way during his career, so landing with the Lakers might be the way to go for the two-time NBA MVP.
