For years, fans debated whether Kobe Bryant was the best player in the NBA or not.
Some didn’t like his attitude or style of play and were often petty and tried to diminish his legacy, while others acknowledged his greatness.
Bryant was a relentless defender, one of the best ever at his position.
He was also an unstoppable scorer, a guy that put up modern-day numbers before the modern-day era, and one of the most prolific in basketball history.
However, not many people would go on and say that he was the best player on Earth.
That is, until the game was on the line.
Kobe’s clutchness and ability to rise to the occasion made him a living legend, and that’s why Snoop Dogg sees some similarities between him and Stephen Curry.
The hip-hop legend, who happens to be a bonafide Los Angeles Lakers fan, compared Curry to Kobe in the sense that no one speaks of them as if they were the best players in the league until it’s actually the time to shine.

Curry has often been overlooked and underrated, with some calling the league out after he won his first MVP.
He’s always responded by putting up historical performances, up to the point where he’s finally entered the debate of the greatest point guard of all time.
Even so, it’ll always seem like he’s somewhat disrespected, and not many fans mention his name when discussing the best player in the league.
That’s until they desperately need a bucket to win a game.
