The MLB free agency period is still going strong.
Many impact players have yet to find a new home and it seems like it is taking a while for some deals to develop.
But, as we get closer to spring training we will see more and more players sign.
The most recent big signing was made by the Milwaukee Brewers.
They agreed to a two-year, $34 million contract with former Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins.
Hoskins missed all of last season recovering from an ACL tear.
But, he is expected to be at full strength by spring training.
This move should make Brewers fans excited because of Hoskins’ career success in Milwaukee.
According to Cespedes Family BBQ on Twitter, Hoskins has slashed .342/.405/.790 with five home runs in nine career games in Milwaukee.

Hoskins has been comfortable hitting at American Family Field.
Now he will get the chance to play 81 games there next season.
The Brewers needed a right-handed power bat and Hoskins has hit 148 career home runs in six seasons.
While he leaves a lot to be desired on defense, he could be used as a designated hitter.
Other than hitting home runs Hoskins is also good at getting on base.
He is consistently amongst the league leaders in walks.
In 2019, he led the National League in walks with 116.
This signing by the Brewers goes to show they looking for more offensive production.
The NL Central will be up for grabs next season with no dominant team in the division.
Expect Hoskins to play a big role on the Brewers in 2024.
