The Golden State Warriors made one of the boldest moves in their recent history.
They swapped Jordan Poole to get Chris Paul just hours after GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. said he wanted Poole to be there for the long run.
Multiple reports about Poole’s attitude and some alleged beef with several veterans in the locker room have emerged ever since, but that seems to not be the case after Stephen Curry’s latest activity on social media.

No. 30 shared a heartfelt and long goodbye to Poole and wished him all the best in this new stint with the Washington Wizards, all while welcoming Paul to the Bay Area.
That right there is leadership 101, and even if Steph has never been the most outspoken or vocal guy, it’s evident that he’s the one holding it all together, even off the court.
Poole’s drive and the way he handled himself rubbed plenty of people the wrong way, but Curry reportedly still reached out to him over and over to try and get everybody on the same page, even knowing the franchise wanted Poole to carry his torch later in his career.
As for Paul, he’s been his sworn rival for a decade now, but he knows he could be a defining factor in another championship run, so he’s willing to put all that behind him and just work together toward a common goal.
Curry has always been way more than a shooter, and this is why this organization needed to do everything in their power to keep their title core together for at least another run at a ring.
