The NBA offseason is in full swing and that means many basketball players focus their time on a different sport.

There is a long list of NBA players that love to play golf.

One player who is a great golfer is Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

Curry is one of the best golfers among NBA players and has talked about his love for the game in the past.

This weekend Curry is playing in the American Century Championship.

The ACC is a celebrity golf tournament where many well know athletes and actors get to play.

Some other notable names include Patrick Mahomes, Tony Romo, and Aaron Rodgers.

Curry is leading the tournament entering the third and final round.

According to NBC Sports, Curry said “losing to the Lakers” is his motivation for doing so well.

Losing in the second round of the playoffs gave Curry some extra time to play golf this summer.

Usually, the Warriors are playing until June, so those few extra months of preparation are paying off for Curry in this tournament.

Curry has never won the American Century Championship but has a chance to change that.

It must be a thrill for Curry to be in the lead of this tournament.

You can bet he will want the Warriors playing into June next year as they chase another NBA championship.
