On Friday, the Cincinnati Reds kept on rolling.
After trailing 5-0 early against the Atlanta Braves, they clawed their way back into the game and ultimately stole it away from Atlanta, winning by a final score of 11-7.
Elly De La Cruz hit for the cycle in just his 15th game, leading the Reds’ comeback.
The win put the Reds at 41-35 on the season and kept them at the top of the NL Central.
It was their 12th straight win, which ties them with the 1957 and 1939 teams for the third-longest win streak in franchise history.

The longest such streak for the Reds came in 1899, when they won 14 consecutive games.
They won 13 straight games in June of 1890.
Just one more win will tie them with the 1890 team.
If they manage to pull off a sweep against the Braves, they’ll tie the all-time mark and will come into Monday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles with a chance to set a new all-time record.
The Reds have been an interesting team this year.
They lost 100 games last season and finished in last place in the NL Central.
However, with stars such as De La Cruz, Hunter Greene, Spencer Steer, Matt McClain, Alexis Diaz, and others, the youthful Reds have caught fire and may soon find themselves running away with the NL Central.
They last won the division back in 2012.
They lead the Milwaukee Brewers by 1.5 games and are up four games on the Chicago Cubs.
