The NBA season came to an end only days ago but it’s never too soon to be thinking of next year’s Finals.
Sure enough, predictions are already being thrown around about which teams will go all the way in 2024–25.
On Thursday’s “First Take,” Udonis Haslem said he envisions the Minnesota Timberwolves reaching the Finals next year.
He said that Anthony Edwards can continue to prove he’s the next Michael Jordan and the team will be driven by the sting of defeat they felt this year.
The one question mark for Minnesota is Karl-Anthony Towns, Haslem said.
But if Towns plays to the best of his ability, this team could be the most fearsome one in the West.

The Timberwolves stormed into the postseason this year, dominating in their first series against the Phoenix Suns.
They got off to a great start in the second round with the Denver Nuggets, but things got very close and they had to battle for seven games.
In the end, they reigned supreme and earned their ticket to the Western Conference Finals.
But it was there that the power of the Dallas Mavericks got in their way and they only won a single game.
It was a painful end to the season for the Timberwolves but Haslem said this will help them in the future.
They can use the disappointment they felt as fuel to play even better next year.
He mentioned Towns as the X factor for Minnesota but some people think the star player won’t even be playing for the Timberwolves next season.
However, Minnesota might try to hold onto him after the promising postseason they just had.
Regardless, next season could be a big one for the Timberwolves and they could build upon the success they just had.
