The NBA is filled with millions of very loyal, very vocal fans who ride hard for their teams.
Naturally, these fans will rub some people the wrong way, including former stars.
On Thursday’s “First Take,” Udonis Haslem said the New York Knicks’ fanbase is the most entitled in the league.
He claimed that Knicks fans believe they created everything important related to basketball and act as if they are champions, even though they haven’t won much in years.

Haslem noted how the Knicks fill their courtside seats with A-list celebrities and also pack other arenas during road games.
That is just another reason why Haslem isn’t particularly fond of the fans in New York.
Of course, he approaches this conversation from a different perspective because he spent many years playing in the NBA.
Knicks fans are notorious for being very outspoken and making life miserable for all opponents.
He isn’t the only one bothered by Knicks fans, partly because they are so loyal to their team through thick and thin.
The truth is that all fanbases have their opponents and that is just the nature of popular sports.
There is a very good chance that Haslem will be even more annoyed by Knicks fans in the near future because the team has been getting better and better lately.
They are now considered one of the most exciting teams in the league and there is a belief they could go all the way to the Finals within the next few years.
That would obviously be loudly celebrated by their fans and would give Haslem and others more reasons to dislike them.
