For several weeks during the 2022 NFL season, all eyes were on Damar Hamlin and the Buffalo Bills.
Hamlin collapsed during a regular-season game between the Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals, and his future in the league was uncertain.
Leading up to the current season, the reporting from the Bills’ camp indicated that Hamlin will play this year.
This was recently confirmed in a video shared by JT Messinger, via Dov Kleiman, showing Hamlin running and participating in drills.

Hamlin’s road to recovery was initially said to be long and slow, and that he might never play in the NFL again.
Thankfully, that appears to not be the case.
If he is fully cleared by doctors and team personnel, Hamlin looks ready to contribute to the Bills defense.
Last year, the defense suffered from several injuries, including Hamlin’s.
Von Miller tore his ACL during the 2022 season, missing the rest of the year.
He was a valued addition to this team, and, assuming all is right with his ACL, should also be ready to go this year.
The Bills have an uphill battle to make a deep playoff run this year, potentially even more difficult than last season.
Aaron Rodgers has joined the New York Jets, giving the team a more difficult time in their division.
Plus, the AFC has continued to get stronger, and the Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a strong Super Bowl victory.
Having players like Hamlin and Miller back will certainly help, but the Bills certainly have their work cut out for them.
