The Dallas Mavericks are walking on clouds right now.

Jason Kidd’s team took the first two games of the Western Conference Finals, coming back from behind both times, and making a statement both times.

Luka Doncic has stepped up big time in the first two games of the series, and the final play of Game 2 will be a part of his highlight reel once it’s all said and done.

The former Real Madrid star took Rudy Gobert out for a dance and shook him off to knock down a step-back three-pointer to win the game, stunning the Timberwolves and their fans at Target Center.

That’s why, after the game, Mavericks PF P.J. Washington only had two words to describe his star teammate: Luka Magic (via SportsCenter).

“It’s just magic, it’s Luka Magic.”

Doncic embraced the challenge of taking the reigning Defensive Player of the Year one-on-one.

Not doubling him was a questionable decision by coach Chris Finch, and Gobert allowed him to go to his right despite the fact that it was clearly his intention all along.

Doncic is a special and unique kind of talent, and even though he’s been around for quite a while, he’s just 25 years old, so he’s not going to slow down any time soon.

There’s not much you can do against talent at times.

This is the NBA, where amazing happens, and Doncic is, in fact, magical.
