The Los Angeles Lakers earned a huge win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, beating them 120-109.
During the game, Anthony Davis shocked everyone by scoring 27 points, 25 rebounds, 5 assists, 7 steals, and 3 blocks.
As noted by ClutchPoints, Davis is now the only player in NBA history to record 25+ points, 25+ rebounds, 5+ assists, 5+ steals, and 3+ blocks in a game.

This was perhaps Davis’ best night in a season of great nights.
So far in 2023-24, he is averaging 24.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.5 blocks.
Once again, Davis has looked like a very dominant big man and earned another All-Star appearance because of it.
Fans are cautiously optimistic about the Lakers lately because the team has had several big wins, including against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks.
Is there reason to believe that they could earn a playoff spot?
If that happens, it’ll partly be because of Davis.
For years now, it has been clear that Davis is the key to the Lakers winning another championship.
If he is fully healthy and playing great basketball, the team can go very far.
Right now, Davis is both healthy and performing incredibly on the court.
Meanwhile, other stars like LeBron James, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and D’Angelo Russell are also putting up impressive scores.
Individually and collectively, the Lakers are playing terrific basketball.
As great and historic as Davis has been lately, he can’t let up now.
In fact, he has to play even better in the weeks ahead.
The Lakers will next play against the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, and Philadelphia 76ers.
They are the ninth seed in the West right now, which means they qualify for the Play-In Tournament but not the playoffs.
They want to climb higher in the standings and will need Davis to do so.
