After barely missing the 2023 NFL playoffs, the Seattle Seahawks will enter the 2024 campaign with a new regime headlined by head coach Mike Macdonald.
Macdonald inherits a roster with talent on both sides of the field, though the offensive end will be worth monitoring.
Incumbent starter Geno Smith regressed after his Pro Bowl season the year prior, though he still has weapons like D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba to work with.
Seattle does own the No. 16 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and are projected to take an offensive tackle to help rebuild the trenches.
However, they might be a sleeper team for a quarterback as they recently hosted Oregon’s Bo Nix, via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

Nix is one of the most productive quarterbacks in his draft class and brings a number of years and experience to the position for the team that drafts him.
While he might not possess the same strong arm that Smith does, Nix is able to make just about every throw in the book and keep an offense on schedule.
Nix has a wide range of where he could get selected in the draft, though a team like Seattle could certainly surprise the league and take him early.
