Everyone is talking about Bronny James, son of LeBron, but not all of the comments about him are positive.

Some feel that he doesn’t belong in the upcoming NBA Draft and others think he has a lot of promise and potential.

But all that really matters is what league scouts think about James.

Speaking on “First Take,” Brian Windhorst opened up about what he’s heard from those scouts.

According to Windhorst, they are saying James has a lot working against him, including his size.

But he has also impressed multiple teams, particularly because of his personality, and Windhorst believes that he will be drafted, likely in the second round.

Windhorst said that James’ first season will not look anything like his father’s.

He will enter the league without any fanfare and probably won’t get a bunch of minutes during games.

He might even spend some time in the G League during his rookie season.

But Windhorst thinks that James has impressed enough people and has enough room to grow that he’ll be valuable to an NBA team.

Additionally, a team might sign James in hopes of perhaps attracting his father and causing him to leave the Lakers and move.

Windhorst said that James’ season with USC didn’t do him any favors because he wasn’t able to train last summer due to his health issue and wasn’t used properly during the year.

He wasn’t able to really show his skills and make an impression on NBA teams.

But he has made up for that recently during the combine, where he showed how much he’s been working on his body and his game.

Now he is a much more attractive draft prospect and his chances of entering the league next month are higher, even though he won’t be a first-round pick.
