The Philadelphia Eagles have themselves a rising star in young defensive tackle Jalen Carter.
The All-Rookie performer is coming off of an impressive rookie campaign and searching for more.
He just recently revealed his goal for his sophomore season in the NFL to the Philadelphia media.
“I’d like to be more conditioned than working on technique because we got all year to work on technique stuff…My first year was okay…We here now and I’m ready to be better than last year,” Carter said.

Imagine if Carter gets in better shape than he was in as a rookie.
The former ninth-overall pick immediately jumped onto the scene after being drafted out of the University of Georgia.
In 16 games played last year, he recorded 6.0 sacks, 33 total tackles, and multiple forced fumbles.
With the loss of legendary defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who is a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team and a former Super Bowl champion, Carter will have a larger role in 2024.
With new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who is one of the most experienced defensive minds in all of football, Carter and Co. will greatly benefit.
If Carter can get into better shape with his conditioning, the rest of the league is in some real trouble.
The former national champion could certainly have a career year this upcoming season.
