It’s been a while since L’Jarius Sneed was asked to go against elite competition in practice, but that won’t be the case with the Tennesee Titans.
Ever since Tyreek Hill left the Kansas City Chiefs, there hasn’t exactly been a surplus of talent in their wide receivers corps.
Now, the star CB is going to take the next step in his career, and he’s excited about getting the opportunity to compete in practice every single day against some of the best wide receivers in the game.
Speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio (Via Around the NFL), Sneed showered his new teammates in praise, calling WRs Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins ‘elite:’
“To get out there and work with them elite wide receivers, I never had two elite guys like them, going up against them every day,” Sneed said.

Of course, perhaps ‘elite’ is a bit of a reach here, as Hopkins is no longer at the top of his game and Ridley, while very productive, isn’t a top-tier receiver at this point in his career.
Even so, they both could and should push one of the best cornerbacks in the game to get even better.
Losing Sneed was a massive blow to the Kansas City Chiefs’ defense, especially with their three-peat in sight.
They didn’t even get a lot in return for their stellar defensive back, and he was a prime addition for a Titans team that has quietly had a very good offseason.
Sneed is one of the best in the game, so don’t be shocked if he gets even better now that he’s going to find it a little tougher in practice.
