The Boston Celtics are back on top.
For the first time since 2020, they officially have the most championships in NBA history (18).
That’s why Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to complain about it.
The legendary point guard admitted that he was not happy about the fact that the Celtics officially have more titles than them again.

Unfortunately for Johnson, it will take some time before the Lakers are able to get the Larry O’Brien trophy back to Los Angeles, all while the Celtics should continue to be one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference.
The Celtics have a well-built project and roster with bonafide stars and good role players, and the Lakers have almost none of that.
Of course, LeBron James is still one of the best players in the game, and when locked in and healthy, so is Anthony Davis.
However, the Lakers don’t have a championship-caliber roster — or even a coach, for that matter — and play in a much tougher Western Conference.
Still, it’s crazy to think that the Celtics have only won two championships since the Larry Bird era, as most of their titles came from the Bill Russell days.
The Lakers did a lot of catching up in the following years and managed to even things up at one point.
So, even if the Celtics get a couple of titles and have bragging rights over them, history could always repeat itself at some point in the future.
