LeBron James is one of the greatest players in NBA history, and not even his biggest hater can say otherwise.
But as great as he is, he’s never been known for being a proficient three-point shooter.
James managed to become the league’s all-time leading scorer despite that.
He’s shot 50.5% per his career, which is remarkable for a guy averaging 27.2 points per game over two decades.
Even so, LeBron is a career 34% shooter from beyond the arc, and he only shot 40% or better from three once.
That average would’ve been way higher if all of his attempts were look-down threes, as NBA star Paul George claims that’s the best signature move in the NBA.
In the latest episode of his podcast, PG-13 joked that LeBron has never actually missed that shot, stating that it’s quite effective.
PG agrees that LeBron has the best signature move in the NBA
“I’ve never seen him miss it”

We haven’t done the math, but we are pretty sure that we’ve never seen him miss that shot, either.
It’s just like Steph Curry’s turnaround three-pointer or Kevin Durant’s mid-range shot.
All jokes aside, it’s crazy to think that people have never considered LeBron a pure scorer.
He might not have the deepest bag or tricks or the purest jump shot, but we’re talking about a guy who’s averaged 27 points per game for twenty years in the most scoring-driven basketball league on Earth.
Being able to stay relevant and dominant for that long, even when the athleticism was supposed to fade, is simply remarkable.
So the rest of the league should be thankful that he was never an efficient three-point shooter.
