The Los Angeles Lakers had plenty of reasons to celebrate on Friday night.
They not only eliminated the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference but a team that constantly tried to get under their skin.
Nobody on the Lakers forgot anything the Grizzlies said and after they won Game 6 as the bench sang a curious song to say goodbye to their rivals.

This was a good way to finish this series.
The Grizzlies tried really hard to play mind games with the Lakers, but nothing worked for them.
LeBron James decided to ignore his rivals after the series was over, walking off the court before the game ended.
Dillon Brooks tried to play the villain role again and it didn’t work.
Ja Morant tried to behave, and he did it, but he admitted that his off-court controversies hurt his team.

The Lakers got the best of the Grizzlies and now are ready to keep defying the odds.
For Memphis, they’ll have to wait another year to see if they can win a championship.
Some changes will need to be made, but it’s clear that this team is on the right track.
