NBA fans, scouts, media members, and players have always debated Bronny James’ potential future in the league.
Bronny has never been a highly-touted recruit, but his privileged gene pool has opened plenty of doors for him, and he’s made sure to make the most of every single one of them.
Following a disappointing freshman year in high school, he’s put in a lot of work, up to the point where he was considered a top-10 draft pick before the start of the season.
Then, a major health scare and his lack of production on a not-so-talented USC team raised plenty of questions about his potential as an NBA player, and he’s projected to go undrafted on most boards now.
That’s why Draymond Green, who’s very close to his father and also represented by Rich Paul, went out of his way to explain why he believes Bronny will find success in the league (Via The Volume).

Talking on his podcast, Green stated that, at worst, Bronny is going to be a 3-and-D player, which is something the league is full of right now.
He thinks that Bronny could change the tempo of the game on the defensive end and knock down shots, stating that in the worst-case scenario, he’s going to be a backup point guard who can put pressure on the opposing team’s lead guard.
He also praised his body of work, stating that the year-to-year improvement has been obvious.
It’s a fact that Bronny isn’t the most polished or talented player in the league, and many people can debate whether he should be a draft pick this season or not.
It’s also a fact that he’s grown up amongst NBA players and watching how much work they need to put in to find success.
And if any team is going to take a risk, it might as well be with LeBron James’ firstborn.
